Mrs. Leslie & Family,
The Leslie Home was always open to me as
a child. The loss of a husband or father is never truly
lost, as one's spirit of love and example transcends time
and people. I remember, long ago, the time Mr. Leslie
treated me to lunch when working at the Health Museum. He
made me feel like a young man who had gained stature in
the business world. His skeptic nature was never to
demean, but to challenge one's ability to
"sell" his or her idea. Personally and
professionally I am a better man for having known him. He
was a poorer man, as I ate everything in sight of his
refrigerator. Many a night, this neighbor "docked
for the night." From that, I learned love and made
friends that would last a lifetime. You are in safe
harbor sir! Thanks for your legacy, and thank you for
leaving behind family and friends that remain with mine
forever. God Bless and Rest with Him,
