Edna A. Beckett (nee Clawson) 63 years old of Elyria, Ohio went home to the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at her home.
Edna was born in Lodi, Ohio on October 11, 1946 and lived in Elyria for most of her life. She was employed as a S.T.N.A. at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin, Ohio for 28 years. She enjoyed taking road trips visiting flea markets in the northern Ohio area.
Edna is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert Beckett; two daughters, Kimberly (Dale) Fyffe and Tracy Lee Beckett, both of Elyria; one son, Robert Christopher Beckett of Elyria; and by grandchildren, Mark, Kyle, and Nathan Dalton and Haley, Willy, Linda, and Tom Fyffe. She is also survived by three brothers, Howard and Allen Clawson of Kimbolton, Ohio and William Clawson of North Carolina; and two sisters, Alice Crowell of South Carolina and Marian Karas of Wellington, Ohio.
Edna was preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Kay Beckett in 2000; and her parents, Marion and Elizabeth (nee Knight) Clawson.
Friends will be received at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Ohio on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Henry Crowell, brother in law of Edna, officiating. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria, Ohio.
